Zombietoberfest 2012

Work in progress for Zombietoberfest 2012 in Orlando, FL

The fun begins at 6:00 p.m. on September 29th and will take place throughout the Garden District.  In the East Plaza (B3, Dutch Door, Bluebird Bake Shop, you get where we mean, right?), there’ll be lots of family-friendly fun, including treat bags for all kids in costume, outdoor movie screenings, and plenty of zombies. Beer and wine will be available for the grown ups.
In the West Plaza (where Park Ave CDs, Dear Prudence, Sushi Lola’s, etc can be found), festivities will include 2 stages featuring live local bands, a Zombie King & Queen Costume contest (with awesome prizes), Beer & Wine, Food Trucks, vendors, and lots of fun.
At 10:00, the party will move indoors, to Red Light Red Light, Stardust Video & Coffee, & Big Daddy’s where the fun can continue without scaring the neighbors!
We’re partnering with our great member businesses and community friends to make this street party a fun time for all.  Thanks to Axis Magazine, Dos Equis Beer, Mother Falcon, a for the outside support!

Third Time's A Lot

I have a solo show coming up in November at The Peacock Room in Orlando FL. I also have a group show coming in October at Mother Falcon's - Zombies II. I don't have any new work because all of the stuff I've done this year is at XL Gallery, or has been sold. So, I'm working on 3 paintings at once, and feeling a little overwhelmed.

This piece is just a couple days in. You can see the pencil study in a post below.

These are the 2 zombies that I'm working on. Above is the pencil sketch, for the newest, and below is the other. I'm only 2 days in on it, so there is a long way to go. She doesn't look like a zombie yet, but she will. You can see the blood sketch below.
